Sophia is an Event Operations Lead at Equal Ventures, where she supports the firm’s operations, platform, and events. Previously, Sophia was at Plug and Play Tech Center, a global innovation platform, where she managed programs across the Travel & Hospitality and Brand & Retail practices, working with startups, corporations, and investors to build partnerships and programming around emerging technologies. She is passionate about building communities and creating thoughtful experiences that bring people together.
Sophia earned her B.A. degree from the University of Southern California. Outside of work, she’s usually planning her next international trip, hunting down a great restaurant, going to a concert, or convincing friends to join her for something new.
